JB Electric, a reputable and trusted electrical company was founded in the year 2017 by the skilled and dedicated Joshua Bloyd. Joshua, an individual with a unique backstory, was born with an innate curiosity for understanding how things work, which was a precursor to his interest in electrical work. His entrepreneurial journey began in an unexpected place – while he was attending seminary in the vibrant city of Fort Worth, TX.
During this period of his life, Joshua took on a role as a maintenance electrician to support himself financially. It was in this position that his affinity for electrical work truly blossomed. He found himself intrigued by the intricacies of electrical systems, the challenge of troubleshooting problems, and the satisfaction of finding solutions that kept systems running smoothly. This experience didn’t just ignite a passion in him for electrical work, but it also became a platform from which he discovered his genuine love for serving others.
Driven by this dual passion, Joshua took the bold step of creating his own electrical services business, JB Electric. His experiences provided him with an invaluable foundation of skills and understanding of the industry, which he now leverages in running his business. Furthermore, Joshua’s heart for service, which was kindled during his seminary days, remains at the core of JB Electric’s mission, ensuring that every client is served with dedication and integrity.

We’re actively expanding our service area – Springfield became a full service location in 2025, and we’re planning further expansion throughout the region by 2026.
